I noticed the same drop in values too but as CF77 suggested it jumps right back up after a reboot or two.

Is it just me or does anyone else notice the jump or lag when scrolling or pinch & zooming with this 2509 drivers. It's not as smooth as it was with the previous driver, and just this morning it throttled my CPU, I had to install throttlestop to start up the turbo again.
Although I was cautious with throttlestop because of the warnings about it's potential effects on power adapter & even CPU. I had to uninstall it after I restarted turbo.
Just trying to get your expert opinion, should I continue with 2509 or go back to the previous driver? I tried once but the computer said I had the newest driver & I was going to overwrite it with an old one, so I reneged.

I found this version is ok in both AC and battery mode.

ThrottleStop is activated when plugged in when you select the "A/C on/batt off" option in Throttlestop setting.

I would not worry about the power supply.

Which app were you using when you found pinch and zoom jump or lag?

Has anyone tried these drivers with the Windows 8 Developer Preview?

It won't let them install. I tried everything - compatibility mode, unzipping and using individual driver utility, "have disk" from device manager... these drivers are hardcoded not to work on anything but Win7 or Vista.

Thanks for the response. I was using internet explorer. I also checked with the intel turbo boost monitor you recommended & found out the cpu was throttling. Even running martview reader did not raise the cpu indicator and flippind pages lagged noticeably.
All the same, I think the problem`s fixed atm & rerunning WEI raised the score significantly.

Wait, what of the dual booting case? I thought becos it`s the same machine, installing on one OS automatically covers the other.

I installed the drivers but don't know where the throttlestop app is located.
Can anyone please advise on where this is?
