Damn this looks sweet. Looks like everything I wanted the asus ep121 to be except for the pricetag. Price hasn´t been released yet, but will probably be slightly cheaper(?) than the previous i400, so about $2000. Sahara Slate PC i500 Tablet PCs - TabletKiosk Here is a review with some pics of the screen in sunlight : http://www.tabletpc2.com/First_Look_TabletKiosk_Sahara_i500_Tablet_PC-Article1102601.html
Interesting, I have not heard of Tablet Kiosk before. Can anyone comment on the quality of their products?
That looks almost perfect, but it is kind of a shame they are using the older i core cpu and not the newer, more efficient Sandy Bridge model. BTW what is the weight of the EP121 compared to this at 3.3lbs?
EP121 weighs 1.16kg So its about a pound heavier, but I assume alot of that would be from the extra battery.
Hopefully that also means battery life that will at the very least last 5 hours. Then again this is using the LV i7 vs the ulv i7 in the EP121, so it could be wash there?
I could be wrong but I think the Ep121 has a ulv i5. With what I saw from the windows 8 preview this has me very interested although probably more in the long term. I still have not been able to find out too much about Tablet Kiosk as a vendor, where as there appears to be alot of information on HP, Lenovo, Fujitsu even asus and acer.
Tablet Kiosk is one of the original Tablet PC Partners, been around from the beginning. The created UMPCs and Tablet PCs mostly for vertical customers. Very High Quality and very pricey.... Their typical OPP is around $2000 for their tablets.
