Interesting, I have not heard of Tablet Kiosk before. Can anyone comment on the quality of their products?

That looks almost perfect, but it is kind of a shame they are using the older i core cpu and not the newer, more efficient Sandy Bridge model. BTW what is the weight of the EP121 compared to this at 3.3lbs?

    EP121 weighs 1.16kg

So its about a pound heavier, but I assume alot of that would be from the extra battery.

Hopefully that also means battery life that will at the very least last 5 hours. Then again this is using the LV i7 vs the ulv i7 in the EP121, so it could be wash there?

I could be wrong but I think the Ep121 has a ulv i5. With what I saw from the windows 8 preview this has me very interested although probably more in the long term.

I still have not been able to find out too much about Tablet Kiosk as a vendor, where as there appears to be alot of information on HP, Lenovo, Fujitsu even asus and acer.

Tablet Kiosk is one of the original Tablet PC Partners, been around from the beginning. The created UMPCs and Tablet PCs mostly for vertical customers. Very High Quality and very pricey....

Their typical OPP is around $2000 for their tablets.

That all of sudden may have become out of budget for me. :/

If I was in the market for a larger, notebook replacement tablet, I would have to give this bad-boy some serious consideration. Looks like some real competition for the EE 121, especially in the enterprise market.

True but it is at twice the cost. But for me the hotswappable battery is worth alot.. is it worth an extra 1000.. maybe not. I do know there are some additional features.

It does come with a 64bit celeron (Sp?) processor as well. I wonder how that would work out in terms of battery life etc.

Well what about for the extra battery and the slight faster lv cpu(the Asus has the ulv cpu), would that combo worth the extra $1000?

Hrm 4.5 hours claimed operation on the first two batteries. I cant wait to read some actual reviews.

Or just how much weight this extended battery adds to get the 8 hours of runtime.

Man that is NICE. I love the fact that the drive and memory slots are accessible.
