No worries...I should have read it closer.
Downloading Angry Birds right now
Nice job thadwald.
Have you found time to play with the driver more?
I have been using your driver for nearly a month without issue. Works great! Better performance and opengl support without the annoying flickering.
I've been meaning to give it a shot. Maybe this weekend.
Only downside so far is the inability to force to1024x768. For me not a big deal.
Ask Rick. I think he could make it happen.
Have been running this driver under Win 7 as my every day driver. Had to give it up under Win8 however, since 1024x768 is required for the metro apps. Typing this from Metro IE 10, and I wont be looking back. Rick: if your still around, please have one of your engineers spend a day rolling together a package for the iemgd drivers supporting 1024x768! If we had these drivers under Win 8, I'm not sure we would have anything more to complain about on our Slates!
Was browsing around in the Intel site to see if I could force an update for the GMA 500 driver and Intel read my slate as having a NVIDIA GTX 560 Ti GPU installed. If only.
It does, however, read the proper driver #.
I got flash working again with thadwald's tweaked driver
Sorry about the cross-post, Click Here to jump over the thread with the details.
I needed HDMI support, so I followed the guide from earlier in the threaded but added in the HDMI compatibility. Here's a download link if anyone is interested: IEMGD_HEAD_Windows7.zip
