I don't think the TX2500 has an external PCIE slot, so no.

Also, when i read the article on engadget.com, it said it only works for the model in the picture at the moment.

"The GraphicBooster add-on, which currently only works with the Sa 3650, is based around an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3870 graphics card, and promises a 470% increase in graphics performance over the laptop's built-in graphics. No word on prices just yet, unfortunately but both the laptop and the GraphicBooster add-on will apparently be available at some "specialist retailers" this month."

Then what's the ExpressCard slot? Is that a PCIe slot?

    No, it's an Expresscard/34 slot.

However the expresscard slot does actually map onto the PCI-E bus, so in theory any external card could just connect through the expresscard slot, however I havn't seen any that supported the full 16x bandwidth graphics cards require. (usually only supporting 1x)

Hopefully the upcoming expresscard 2 spec will allow more external card applications.

ars has an article that says express card won't work. they maped the PCI slot directly to an external connector so unless you have a pc that has this, it is a no go.

it doesn't, it specifically mentions how that is the only laptop that it will interface with.... now.
someday others might, but our tx2500's won't :( would be cool though (as I play gta4 in minimum detail at 14 fps)
