Yes it's real as Dell today announched the new device.
I've already edit first post with more details.

I did a comparision between this and the new HP Spectre x360 15 (2018):

One question: does Dell really call a 3200*1800 px display 4K UHD (which would be marketing bullsh*t at its finest) or this this a mistake in their spec sheet?

@Marty brought this to my attention and I have to say, I'm intrigued. Thanks for the chart, @stormi, that's incredibly helpful to see the differences and trade-offs between these two very interesting devices.

I'm going to have to spend some time meditating on computers. (Best way to spend your time, yes?)

So how does the "AES 2.0" compare to EMR in terms of hover distance and jitters (both when hovering and drawing/writing)?
Can I upgrade the RAM and SSD by myself?

I wonder how’s the current state of aes pens.
Why does noone really test these things out in their videos?

You know this is an interesting bit of psychology to ponder:

But for some reason, it seems people do not reach for the pen in the same way they would reach for a mouse/keyboard—even though arguably, the pen should be more natural than either of those input methods.

Reviewers on show floors always seem to want to test out details like the key travel and trackpad feel, but never the same consideration for the pen!

Which is rather curious considering ass 2 in 1 device speciality is exactly the pen.
As far as I can remember only Lisa at Mobiletechreview does hands on/review videos that tries to show how a particular flavor of pen tech or implementation of said tech performs.
