Just spoken to Asus in UK, v.friendly staff, they contacted head office in Taiwan to find out info for me, and called me back with the details.

    R1F
It support Wacom technology and has integrated graphics.
It will be in shops mid/end September. Does anyone think its worth hanging on for?

Well this is interesting. Looks like this will be the first Core 2 Duo tablet. Anyone know about Asus's reputation for build quality? How are their other tablets?

    Looks like it has potential.

Asus hasn't built any other tablets...

In my opinion Asus has got very good build quality and I'm quite sure they're the supplier for Apple notebooks.

Sounds like they have a good track record. I can't wait until more information is out.

got bored so i called up asus customer service. said they would have the tablets in the US in the first of sept but had no idea when they'd get it out to the resellers but i'm guessing mid sept =/ and they said it would be a built on asus model so software packages, memory, hard drive, processor, and warranty should all be customizable and dependant on the resellers.

edit: forgot to ask about a price range >.< but i may call back when i get bored again and see
