Just thought you all would like to know, I just got off the phone with an Asus sales rep. They expect the R1F anytime, and when I asked about graphics:

"I believe it'll have discreet graphics."

    I'm excited!

AHHHH! TOO COOL! NOW I'M EVEN MORE EXCITED! ATI?! nVIDIA?!

Maybe it'll have similar specs to the W7J since it's also got the 13.3" screen. That'd be sweet...

    AHHHH!!!!

I heard we won't be able to get one until the end of July (possibly even as late as August).

There is a computer store that operates in Blacksburg, VA that sells computers for the Virginia Tech/Radford University areas that says they plan on selling a tablet from Asus in early July.

Can we get an Asus forum? Maybe the re-sellers will post answers to our questions.

hahahaha its been confirmed that it will use intel gma 945

"This Asus R1 model is the upcoming release featuring the tablet PC concept, as you can easily see. It too has a 13.3" screen and adds a hot swappable battery / hard drive bay for extended usage on the go. It uses the Intel Core Duo processor and the Intel 945GM chipset with integrated graphics. "

    for anyone interested:http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=259

i guess i will have to go with m7 at this point

So, is this computer store selling them yet? It's almost mid-July.

    http://vcscomputers.com/

They are mentioning the specs and have a price, but they say it ships august 21st on the bottom right.

I'm not sure as to how good the site's prices and service is, as the only experience I have is a pamphlet they sent in the mail since I am going to Tech Engineering.
