That 7" form factor would be 100% sold to me if it was Wacom or even NTrig at this point. Atmel I havent heared much of but, you know if it works, it works. The Synaptics pen on the Dell Inspirion 13 according to Lisa Gades demo was pretty good. She even said it was pretty good, and good enough for note takers in her video.

That keyboard setup looks nice in a pinch.

The Atmel pen has been HP's premium pen for a number of years. Dan, who had a 900 and 1000, liked the pen's inking but it has the same corrosion problem that the early N-Trig pens had. Hopefully, this generation has improved that issue.

Corrosion meaning the nib just degrades over time? I briefly owned the Sony Vaio Duo 11 which had the N-Trig Duo Sense 1 technology on it, the pen tech I think wasnt very good. If this system looks to be immune to corrosion issues, I'll be all over this like stink on poop and white on rice.

Not the nib. Corrosion is at the circuit board where the pen sensor resides. Early NTrig pens had this problem and were useless after a year. Luckily, they could be cleaned and restored. The tablet looks so good that the pen is probably worth a try. Make sure you get a good return policy.

Being a protege of Dale, that is the first question I ask any retailer.

Did your mother never tell you that ladies' poop never stinks, that it smells of rainbows and unicorns.

I can burst into a rainbow and glitter, but that's another topic for another place.

While I am very happy S3 owner, this does look like a very good tablet. I take there will be an LTE model?

What do unicorns smell like... hopefully not like horse ****?

I imagine a rainbow smells like raindrops, but I've never gotten a chance to ask a leprechaun.

I think that is exactly the point, we don't know what it smells like, hence a lady's poop need not "stink".

Based off my girlfriends farts, they smell like death. My mother was indeed very wrong.
