I'm curious too, so I went to look. Looks like it just keeps coming out more and more... ;)

When I first looked, they were going to be available in February. Then that became 2/12, then 2/22 and now I see 3/2. So something appears to be delaying the release.

If you want to look for yourself, check here:

...put one in your cart and see what the shipping date turns out to be...

They are now shipping this Windows10-ready device.

It has everything you need to replace your desktop PC (USB, HDMI/WiDi, WIFI/LTE, TPM 2.0, active digitizer/pen + bluetooth smart cover with keyboard) except the CPU: still 2,16GHz ATOM Z series

The G2 would be awesome as a Windows tablet.

    This looks so darned good.

Here is the HP media release: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/hp-news/press-release.html?wireId=1959859&pageTitle=HP Expands Mobility Offerings With New Windows 10 Tablet #.VYOl4fmqpBc

iPad mini screen size and res, digitiser (presumably Atmel; hopefully Executive Pen G2 compatible); USB-C, 4GB RAM

Starting at $479, but given the prices of ex-demo Elitepads and Pro Tablet 610s, I'm looking forward to getting this for a couple of hundred bucks at Christmas time :D

EDIT: Yep, the redoubtable Brad Linder at Liliputing confirms it's Atmel:

Only the one USB-C port plus a docking connector though by the looks of it. Hope they bundle an OTG+charging dongle so you can use peripherals while charging, otherwise will need expensive dock to be useful at work.

Awesome looking device. If it had an internal silo and a Wacom pen, I would be forced to own one.

I think I am getting this, to complement my SP3.

I hate to say it but I think I am done with lenovo and opening my mind to other brands. The pen demo looked alright by Brad Linder.

Out of curiosity, what would happen to your S3 in that case?
