    Hey everyone,
I just installed the latest HP drivers for my TX1320us's Nvidia 6150 Go and things are messed up.
UAC now takes 14 seconds (7 before prompt, 7 after) to go through every time it comes up.
I've spoken to microsoft about this as it happened after installing SP1 and the support representative quickly found the problem to be the NVIDIA drivers.
So I uninstalled and installed instead the one from windows update - same problem.
Installing the original default vista drivers seams to solve the problem, unfortunately I've experienced computer lockups playing video with this version. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

I had the same problem. It didn't actually srew up the uac, in fact your card almost doesn't work now (and this transparency effect seems to need a bit of processing power. You should switch back to the original drivers or follow the instructions here.

I used the original drivers. You can get them back using Recovery Manager, or install them by yourself - they are in swsetup folder.

I had the same problem on my tx1250eg (german version). The best driver for me is 156.85 (found by laptopvideo2go.com) i used the original infs (inside go6150), far and stable and with fully functionality, no black screen before and after uac.

Same situation, but it works fine in non-Aero mode though.

yea I completely dumped aero for now, it's not like flip3D is usable with this pathetic graphics chip.

I wrote HP but got tired of their shabby support. Anyone have better luck?

I sometimes experience this issue and sometimes don't. I need to test but I suspect that it is related to Aero being enabled. All my 3d apps seem to still be performing fine so I'm not concerning myself with it right now.
