What you see here is a virtual machine running OSX 10.6.8, with touch, on my Asus EP121.

Some will call this an abomination. I call it...awesome. I knew that the bios supported virtualization, but I was hesitant to try this creation because of the limitations of RAM and the relative slowness of the processor. However, after upgrading my SSD with the Bulletproof 128 GB, I had to give in. The SSD more than makes up for any processor lag, and it is humming along beautifully.

I've dedicated 2 GB of RAM to the VM, and it seems to be plenty for this particular machine. I've added a couple of mods that help with automatically resizing the screen whenever I need it windowed to also work in Windows, running behind this.

Before you ask 'WHY WOULD YOU....!!!???'...I develop software for Windows, Mac, iOS, Blackberry, and Android. This allows me to also do Mac dev on the same machine. :D

Very HOT! Is there anything special others need to be aware of to perform this same setup?

If there is interest, I can put together a tutorial. It is relatively simple.

please do. that would be VERY helpful.

i could never get touch and pen to work properly, and the iPhone and iPad are not recognized by iTunes, so iOS development was impossible...

Not sure that I can accept the installation of the Mac OS on this device.
However, that nastyness aside, what did you use for the virtualisation software? VMware, virtualbox or some other? I wanted to run a VM myself, but was looking for a hostwhich I could turn off completely, without it leaving the virtual routing/tunneling devices behind (like on my desktop)

VMWare Workstation offers the widest array of support options, in my experience.
