    Just thought I'd share.

Last week I dropped my laptop again and broke the screen. Also the ribbon for the keyboard and touch pad connectors were loose and I couldn't get them refastened. Fortunately I had accidental warranty and called to have it repaired. Got the box from Fedex yesterday and dropped it off at a local drop off that day. It was delivered to HP today but the status page shows nothing about it. Are they on break for the holiday. Anyway, update coming. . .

Be glad you had "accidental" warrenty, without it man you would of lost the entire laptop or end up paying far out your butt for the repairs

no kidding... $250 is so worth it. Especially with an HP that's prone to defects.

They might be on holiday - since it is one (Veterans Day) but security would be on duty and accept the package(once upon a time - I worked security for HP). But I would give it a day or so anyway to be in the system.

I just checked the status and the expected delivery date which was 11/17 is now the 19th. I know from past experience that this date is very fluid.

    Got a strange email today:

The date is still 11/19 which is five days. it kept moving for three straight days from the 17 the first day they had my laptop to t 18th the second day and then the 19th on the third day and it has remained such for the last couple of days. So there is still hope they may get it back in a reasonable time. The first time I had to ship it back for repair of the display connector and motherboard it only took four days. I am spoiled. So here's hoping I get it next Wed or sooner.
