    FWIW:

I may be late to the dance, but I made a discovery today using my iPad.

    1. Start by pinning Outlook to the Dock.
    2. Open Outlook full screen.
    3. Bring up the Dock.
    4. Press on the pinned Outlook icon and drag it up to the screen to create a Split View.

Now you can switch one pane of the view to calendar leaving the other on email. You focus one panel on an email and switch to compose in the other.

I was curious to try it in Android on my S21U. Samsung Internet browser will do two instances. Also Samsung Notes. Outlook, no.
