One of the biggest problems using existing whiteboard applications is the complexity of the interface. Send an uninitiated presenter to a penabled touchscreen to annotate a drawing or figure during a presentation or brain storming event and you will spend a significant amount of your time making sure that the settings are correct for the type of interface that the user wants. It looks like Microsoft may have solved this problem with its new app. This looks intuitive.

Along with a compatible tablet/display, the app should make presentations, teaching and collaboration easier for those not schooled in the software. Add a face to face program like Skype and you might be able to cancel that next business trip.

And, just because I love the Italian language, here is a demo from Windows blog Italia.

    Ciao!

The pen's clicking (tapping?) sound was truly annoying. On my own SP3 i have never experienced something like that. Now I better understand people who complain about it.

Not yet. The article on the app did have a download link but it's dead now.

It was pushed out to the Surface Hubs this past week and should be available to Insiders on the Fast Ring shortly if my understanding is correct....
