Yup, we just found that out the hard way yesterday. Brand new API and library.

MS submitted it to the Android repository only about 6 weeks ago. :)

Good news is that they chose that route though, so any developer should be able to make use of it.

Good to know. Should we start an over/under pool on how long it will take M$ to optimize their own Android apps?

I'm in for 7 months - you guys set the over/under...unless you set it in YEARS then I want to re-bid...

So if a person could live with 8 GB of RAM in the Surface Pro 8, and is willing to buy their own 2230 m.2 hard drive, That person could get a lowest level Surface Pro 8 (i5 8GB RAM 128GB SSD), Microsoft Warranty 3 Yrs, and the combo pen and keyboard for just under $1600. Then add in a 512GB hard drive for around $100. Hmmmm.

Wonder what swapping the drive does to the warranty

Good question, I was just going to swap back if needed before any replacing...safer that way anyway from a security point of view.
