RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Mi-Co, working with 15 partners, unveiled its latest developments in mobile data and digital writing last week at a trade show geared for government agencies.

The FOSE 2004 event in Washington, DC, drew some 19,000 attendees.

Representatives of Mi-Co, which specializes in mobile data and electronic writing, were on hand to work with partners such as Hewlett Packard, Motion Computing and others.

“There is no question that FOSE 2004 reached its goal of rich interchanges between government and industry,” said Barrett Joyner, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Mi-Co. “For example, the keynote address by John Chambers, CEO of Cisco, provided an excellent overview of the public and private partnership that is needed immediately to deal with key industry items, such as security.”

Mi-Co provides digital writing software to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the entire process of capturing and using data with end-to-end enterprise solutions. Mi-Co’s Mi-Forms technology supports .the Tablet PC, the Logitech io Digital Pen, Pocket PC and signature capture devices.
