I am trying to do a clean install of XP Tablet Edition with a CD and I can't get it to accept the CD-key on the bottom of the computer. Here's what I did: Made a directory and copied the contents of Disc 1 into it, then I copied the CMPNENTS folder in from Disc 2. I deleted the MEDIACTR.cab file and replaced it with a blank file to save space. I changed the PID value in I386\SETUPP.INI from 76487270 to 76487OEM. I ran nLite to make some tweaks and slipstream in the RAID drivers. I burned the CD and tried to install, and it went through the setup until it asked for my product key, entered the one on the label on the bottom of the computer, and it rejected it. I tried changing the PID value a bunch more times, and could not get it to accept my CD key. What am I doing wrong?
