    I just received an M1400 I bought on eBay for $ 150.00.

I tossed a hard drive cable, my hard drive from my M1300, it booted right up, downloaded drivers for it. It works great!

I have one problem, I can't seem to find the driver for RealTek AC97 Audio for Windows XP.

Downloaded from 2 spots on the web, both wrong. Anybody know where to find the right one? I have no sound.

Why not taking the original drivers from motions site?

I would if they had it. They don't even know if the memory for the M1300 and the M1400 are compatible. I was in shock when they emailed me and told me that.

They stopped supporting the M series, completely.

I agree, you are the man.

I will give this a shot and hopefully the weirdness I am experiencing with this driver will stop.

To expand on it, when I have been downloading the Realtek driver and going into set up, I get a message stating that "This software did not pass windows validation" then I hit install anyway, it does and the tablet reboots itself telling me it has found new hardware, then a message comes up saying that I just recovered from a serious error. Wierd, i'll give this a try though and let you know what happens.

Yep, you are the man Jack.

I downloaded the factory install and it works like a charm. I'm thinking now that the sound driver in my M1300 must have been a Realtek, hence looking for it when I dumped the hard drive from it into the M1400.

Think I am going to download all of those factory install drivers. Thanks for locating it for me.
