Yes the Hard drive is user replaceable; I have replaced the 500gb it came with with a 750gb hybrid drive as the boot drive and put the 500gb in the modular bay.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds good, but will an SSD fit in the main HD slot? I think both HD and SSD have the same interface? What physical size SDD would fit?

By the way, you might try AuthenTec TrueSuite for the finger print reader. They have a free version that includes drivers for Win8. I have it installed on a Q702 and it works perfectly.

    Thanks, Jim

As far as im aware, ssds are no larger than a standard 2.5" harddrive. Some are 7mm, but they come with a spacer so they will fit properly in a 9.5mm space.

Soooo... Any T732 owners (especially Ebay outlet store refub owners) want to let us know if they ran into a TN LCD panel yet? Some of my students are interested, but I'm still wary of cheaper T7xx units and their use of TN panels...

How is the sharpness and clarity of the display? Can anyone who has used or seen both, comment on how the T732 compares to the T902, screen wise? Thanks.

I haven't seen a T902, but I have no complaints about the screen. All lcd screens which use a digital connection at their native resolution by definition have pixel perfect sharpness unless there is a defect.

It is a wide viewing angle panel, not a TN screen.

If I had a colorimeter, I'd measure the color accuracy.

    Unfortunately however, I don't.

    Sorry.
