Looking for a 7"-10" Android Tablet for my online school, and a little gaming ever once in a while

Current I have a HP touchpad with CM9 for around 2 years now, and it's been great. Just looking at replacing it with something newer/faster/stronger.

16gb internal would be fine with no option for expandable memory

I would like to eventually instead a custom rom on the tablet i get in the near future.

New Nexus 7 or refurbished Nexus 10($399) from Walmart. Ubuntu Touch will be available on them later(openoffice etc.) I would go with Nexus 10, kz good screen resolution.

 

i would love the nexus 10 but it's out of my price range at the moment. right now i ended up getting the nook hd+ 16gb($150) and installed CM10.1 on it. So far its great. I was thinking about getting the nexus 7, but i will wait for the nexus 7 2, and exchange my nook hd+ for the nexus 7 2 hopefully.

 

for both the ainol and pipo tablets, how is the quality of them? their prices are good, and specs are pretty nice especially this one.

I would take pipo over ainol myself, ainol's recent tablets haven't been too well reviewed while pipo tabs have.
