I'm actually fine with having this thread be sort of an 'open discussion' of what's out there, but it's true that he/she might get more responses elsewhere. As long as we don't overlook new models in all the chatter. :) Speaking of which, those Fujitsu's are turning out to be a bit of a pain.. So many slightly different models!

I vote we just keep it with the Q584/Q704 the consumer models from what I understand are just the base models of the professional versions and will only be available in Japan.

Am I correct that the Q584 and Q704 have been confirmed to be Wacom?

Interesting from what I am noticing the Vaio Tap(including the Pentium model), will include the keyboard and the pen standard. So, for 800 gets you a base Tap with 128gb SSD, Pentium(Haswell base) cpu, 4gb of ram, N-trig pen, and keyboard. Not, bad. Shame you really can't get a Pentium model with 256gb SSD or else I'd be taking a serious look at one.

What if i don't use scaling? Will it be too small? Because i think the real advantage of a higher resolution for a study computer is to have more "space" in a smaller screen, not necessarily a smoother image.

Thank you for you reply, by the way! : )

Yes, if it isn't too much trouble.

Well for me 125% scaling is as low as I can go comfortably. For most it seems to be 150%.

Is the latest Fujitsu models that were announced, do they offer a matte or anti-glare display? Any other models with such a display, or is everything moving to glossy?
