That price sounded to good to be true... and it looks like it was =( Apparently the core m part was in error. These will be bay trail devices (see the Anand tech update).

Considering the core m processors are about $280 all by themselves (although im sure Dell gets them cheaper in bulk), I don't think we will be seeing them in devices this cheap.

    Some world class advice there.

You know, I actually gave that some thought. I figured that Intel might be subsidizing the Core M's in the wake of a summer release of Skylake Y SOCs. Hopefully, they revamp the Venue 11 to fit a keyboard like the Venue 10 and use the new Wacom technology.

Damn, here I was hoping I'd be able to finally get a new tablet by march. Looks like it'll be Cherry Trail in the summer.

When do you guys suppose Skylake Core M upgrade will be available to purchase in a product?

My guess is October or later on Skylake. Even if it were ready, any earlier and they would be shooting themselves (Broadwell) in the foot. They don't have competitive pressure to rush it to the market.

Intel seems to be pushing Skylark but I agree that we'll not start to see them until fall. Are we really not going to get a small (8 or 10") Core M tablet system with a decent keyboard, Wacom technology and a 16:10 display? If not, it looks like Cherry Trail is the only real option on the horizon. Late summer for Cherry Trail devices?

Is cherry trail for sure coming out around summer? Because I am not sure I can deal with the performance of the Tegra 3 anymore.

Shame about the Dell though. The pen is for sure the new Wacom tech right, and not an error like the cpu? I do hope they offer 4gb of ram like Lenovo & Fujitsu as it's price better than the 10in Toshiba, and knowing dell there will be a coupon or too to bring the price down.
