Yes. At least in my use, that is the issue. By default OneNote wont interpret touches as attempts to draw. They will be select, drag, or panning operations.

For me the worst palm rejection is with Win Journal.

    +1 on eaglestar
Now Journal is off course an old legacy application and OneNote is sooo much better, but sometimes you just need to doodle while gathering your thoughts. In those cases stray marks wouldn't really be a concern for the rational mind, unfortunately for this OCD gal, I don't fall into that category, but immediately have to erase those marks.

Thanks for the help lads, The Acer R7 model with the DGPU is hard to get a hold of, with mixed reviews of the Adobe RGB colour gamut, There seems to be quite a lot of variations http://www.notebookcheck.net/Acer-Aspire-R7-Series.96912.0.html
I ruled the R7 out when i looked at a model without DGPU, though the touchpad relocation seems like a pain to get used to...
Sony looks nice but the colour gamut is only 60%.

The Thinkpad Yoga 15" looks incredible, a whole bunch of new features, improved wacom pen, broadwell, 3D realsense camera looks promising, only things are, the GPU, up to 840M is OKAY..
And I'll have to wait and see about the screen, but Lenovo are known to have mediocre screens. If the screen is good, i'll pick it up day one.
Just gotta find the cheapest way to import to Australia, maybe a forwarding company so I can try avoid import taxes? :O

A while back, there was a post which showed how one could:

    - disable the touch panel
    - open Microsoft Journal
    - re-enable the touch panel

and then have Microsoft Journal ignore any touch input --- until one closed and re-opened it. While the technique worked, I couldn't see myself leaving Journal open constantly on a machine w/ 2GB or RAM.

A third cross-post of this deal, but I'm thinking people on the lookout for tablets are more likely to have this thread bookmarked than the deals thread.

Selling two per minute right now: ThinkPad Yoga 1st gen 12.5", i5/8GB/128GB SSD with digitizer. Haswell machine, almost identical to the 2015 model (but no trackpoint buttons on this one).
