I have to admit, their tablet ticks a whole lotta boxes but.. :
    - A lot of negative comments about support and software + an awful indiegogo campaign (they cashed in but never delivered)
    - They have zero history in note-taking products, save wacom EMR ones alone.
    Caution advised.

    This too.

Is my future device going to be a folding, penabled Duo-sized eInk device/phone running Linux? Now that has possibilities. I would even consider staying with something like a docked Go2 as my primary device with the eInk Duo doing everything else.

    I can dream can't I?:newpalm:

Excellent! It even has a front light, which has been missing from anything over 10.5". Very very nice.

Official product page here: https://www.boox.com/maxlumi The 13.3" Lumi is now available for only $860, down from $880. Get it while it's hot! ;)

Edit: specs comparison with the Max3 below. Lumi on the left.

I'm really interested in that Max Lumi, it offers tons of improvements over my DPT-RP1.

The one thing that's holding me back is the weight. The Lumi is 220g heavier than the Sony, and only 70g lighter than the pretty unwieldy iPad Pro 12.9. I love the unbelievably low weight of the DPT, which makes it feel less like a piece of electronics and more like paper.

The thickness of the Lumi is probably fine, only 2mm thicker than the Sony. Major wins: full Android 10 and a front light. And presumably quite a bit better inking experience, I don't love the DPT's stylus.

Is anyone here getting a Lumi? If so, please share your impressions!
