    Dear All,

Any of you have tried installing the Linux or Solaris on the T5010?
I m still waiting for my machine and I m thinking to make it dual boot one.

    Thank.

    i have T4220 and

    i have installed www.Ubuntu.org

works perfectly. it will set up DUAL BOOT BY IT SELF when you install ubuntu. wait 15 more days and 8.1 latest version of ubuntu will be out :)

    had to follow https://help.ubuntu.com/community/T4220

to fix PEN/ROTATION of scree and headphone jack.

other than that most of the stuff works

yes recommend it for sure.ever though i have just started using linux/ubuntu for about only 2 weeks heh

RedHat and Slackware works but there is no support for the Atheros XSPAN or the ICH9M so you can't network.

Ubuntu works and the ICH9 is supported, but not the XSPAN

I have read there is a way to re-compile as there are compatable drivers out there.
