    Thanks for the detailed explanation. I have seen various bootia32.efi. From various sources. Which one you used in DV8P? Can you attach it, Please.

    it does not matter i think. i was using the one from the link you provided as well as some other form Internet.

    I ma having bios A10. I tried your suggestion of modifying grub.conf and tried with two bootia32.efi versions , one from the link I gave and another from clover in ubuntu14.04. Still boot does not takes place in ubuntu. It goes back to windows.

    Have You disabled secure boot?

    This really should work...at least You should have an option to boot from stick :/

    I saw boot option in bios. I disabled secure boot. I selected stick as first option and second windows. When I saved the bios and booted it, after some time it went to windows. I am not sure may be because of BIOS version. I don't want to go to lower version of BIOS.
