I got this so I wouldn't have the bulk of hauling around both the tablet and the Slate.

If both surfaces had EMR it would have been perfect.

Is it true there is a 20 hr charge time for just 10 hrs of battery life? Read this from a couple of reviews.

I've had good battery life ...13 hours to the end of the day and then it still had 30% left. That's with regular use and not a whole lot of heavy gaming or back-to-back-to-back videos. Charging certainly didn't take 20 hours. I tend to plug it in at bedtime so I don't know exactly how long it takes but by morning it's 100% charged.

I'm pretty sure no piece of tech would be released in 2016 if it took 20 hours to charge...

No reviews mention the Book being able to capture ink using a regular ink pen when the user has the Book in "paper pad on the keyboard" mode. But does that work?

I'm guessing any V2 or V3 of the Book will use Windows on ARM.

    <<...does that work?..>>

...No. The digitizer (below the pad of paper) requires the electronics inside the Yoga Book pen to track the pen position. A regular ink pen lacks these electronics...

Thanks much. I'm thinking I'd buy an extra pen to keep one loaded with ink and one with the other nib to avoid fiddly swapping between the 2.

The review ON THIS SITE says they recharged one 25% in 30 minutes. ;-)

I'm seriously considering one. I'm currently alternating between my 8" Kindle and old iPad 3 for tablet use, and the biggest annoyance is text input with on-screen keyboards or Bluetooth add-ons. My current compromise machine is my Thinkpad 10 but that's overkill for media consumption with a bit of typing, and while it has a great keyboard you can't adjust the screen angle at all and the keyboard pretty much doubles its weight.

Query for people that have one already - has anyone used a 256GB card with the Android version? Lenovo's site seems to recommend 128GB max.
