(Professor Farnsworth voice) Good news everyone! The panel that had eraser functionality at home doesn't have it at work. So I'm hopeful that it's a solvable driver issue. Let's see if the official Lenovo drivers help.

I'm a poor hoarder and would have push the 'buy now' button right away if it doesn't cost triple the price for importing and shipping. They're still available now, must convince myself that it would just collect dust with the rest of my old gears if I bought it.

Plus there's a risk that you receive a defective unit. My second one (also ) arrived with the touch panel defective along the edge, so you could have to deal with return shipping. On the upside, the two that I now own have worked well, the only niggle being that the eraser functionality only works when they are connected to my X1Y3, but not when connected to my X1T3. Not bad though, two external monitors/drawing panels for under $100 total!

Dang, don't tempt me :D. I have so many pen tablets I can draw on that I would have to grow a few pair of hands to use them all. And I still bought more...

At least my new tab S7 FE double as both an excellent wireless and wired second screen that beat the Lenovo's in many ways.

Holy cow. I just did a random eBay drive-by.

They sold 200 of those units, and now they're all gone.

Wow. The broke-ass art world, (and those unable to resist a deal), just SOAKED those up lickety split!

    Um...

For the not-so-broke-ass art world, a bunch of open-box Dell Canvas 27 units just showed up for $1500 USD:

Geddum now. In fact.., that kind of goes for all computer products. The financial gurus thought the chip shortages were going to ease up in early 2022, but... turns out the financial gurus aren't as smart as they thought they were. Not to mention, prices on everything are only going to continue climbing as the economy goes all slo-mo like a Star Destroyer crumpling into a planet's surface. For a lot of us, spare cash will be earmarked for food (down at the black market, where we'll be dodging the sundry zombie hoards and Australia-style covid cops.)

So.., with these grim thoughts in mind, I just hit "Buy Now" on my next studio computer update, thinking, "Used gear isn't going to be available at these prices much longer." Electronics, even a few years old, are going to be worth something different in an economy where people go from, "New and shiny is a must!" to "Jeezus. I just need a working laptop." So, kid gloves, everybody.

I thought you already had a Dell Canvas?

I'm seeing a Wacom DTH-2242 (1080p ips, 22inch with touch, 1048 level pressure) being sold for 430$. It look like a great deal, because a Wacom Cintiq with touch at 22' in my country usually cost 1.5k upward even for used item.

My only concern is the older UD digitizer, not because lower pressure level but calibration accuracy, and not many people review wacom for business screen. This item is in a different city and it would cost me 2/3 the price to travel there to check it out myself (not even mentioning Covid restrictions) so I just leave it to another lucky buyer.

Still, I sometime see some great deals, most of them here are Japanese import of old business equipments.
