Lenovo has announced their first WOA tablet, the Miix 630. Thanks to @jhoff80 for the heads-up. Release date Q2. The device is very similar to the HP Envy x2 WOA tablet, down to keyboard cover with built-in kickstand.

    Screen: 12.3" 1920×1280 (3:2)
OS: Windows 10 S + free upgrade to Win 10 (limited time option?)
    CPU: Snapdragon 835, LTE modem
Keyboard cover, 1.3 mm key travel
Stylus! (tech?), 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity
    Windows Hello support

    up to 8GB RAM
up to 256GB UFS 2.0 (universal flash storage - speed?)

    Dimensions: 11.5 x 8.2 x 0.6 inches and 2.9 pounds (what? that seems high..)

Claimed battery life: 20h (probably video only, medium screen brightness, but still..)
    Price: starting at $800

    Front camera (5MP)
    Rear camera (13MP)

    1x USB-C, 1x (micro?)SD slot
    nano SIM and eSIM support
    3.5mm headphone jack

Shame it's not the SD845, but the rest of it looks good.

    I don't get it. A 10" tablet with a Celeron and the snapdragon goes in a 12" $800 tablet.

Yes, I don't get it either.
this in 10" would be OK, but it is like with those stupid 6" phones or huge watches.
Some people seem to have the need to overcompensate ....

It seems at this point, everyone just does what Microsoft does.. It's such a logical choice to go in a 10" device, I desperately want a new 10" tablet, but here we are, more attempts at Surface Pro clones.. How many Surface Pro clones does the market need? Some of us want a tablet, not a laptop.

Lenovo also introduced a new 10" Windows Tablet: http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/threads/lenovo-tablet-10-2018-edition-with-pen-support.73413/

Pure Slate tablets are mostly a dead market these days, except for the iPad – and even Apple tried to make the iPad into something a little bit more like the Surface. It just became obvious that if people buy a second computing device in addition to their Smartphone, its gonna be a laptop or at least laptop-tablet-hybrid, so thats where the market is going. Pure Tablets on the other hand are mostly just bigger Smartphones, something not many people need now that Smartphones are all bigger than 5".
