So it looks like Lenovo is making their potential 2-in-1 line-up even more confusing, as info about a Miix 520 in development has leaked. The pictures are reportedly just concept pics so design might change before release.
It sits somewhere between the 510 and the leaked specs of the 720 with the main difference that it uses a vapor-chamber-system to cool its U-class CPU without fans, this seems similar to the fanless cooling in the Acer Switch Alpha 12 but with lower configured TDPs.

    • 12.3" 16:10 1920x1200 display with Gorilla Glass
    • Passively cooled CPUs are configured with only 10W TDP, they are:
    • Core i3-6006U (Skylake), Core i3-7100U, Core i5-7200U, Core i7-7500U (all Kaby-Lake)
    • 4GB / 8GB / 16GB DDR4 RAM
    • 128GB / 256GB / 512 GB/ 1TB PCIe SSD
    • 2x USB-C (1x for charging, other specs unknown), 1x USB-A 3.0
    • Fingerprint reader on the side between volume keys
    • Dual-Camera (8MP + 2MP) on the back, referred to as for "AR", so likely for Augmented Reality, doesn't look like it uses Intel RealSense cameras though
    • AC-WiFi, BT 4.2
    • microSDXC slot
    • optional LTE
    • can be woken up by voice command
    • Dolby Advanced Audio-certified speakers
    • 41 Wh battery (Idle max. 10 hr battery life, 8hr video playback at half brightness)

Not bad except resolution. I will wait for Lenovo X1 second generation if it comes out, otherwise this could be also very good.

With my eyes, this is the better option.
And with 16GB possible I hope I can wait that long.
