The LE1700 is a Motion Computing product, not Lenovo.

I don't know what the source of the pressure problem might be, but it definitely sounds like you've installed some funky drivers which may not play well with your machine.

Try using the free version of CCleaner to do multiple registry cleans after uninstalling the current Wacom drivers. Then, find the default Motion LE1700 wacom drivers from off their site and re-install.

It's near the bottom of the list. Make sure you select the operating system you are using on the top of the list... windows 7, or vista or xp. Motion Computing - LE1700 Tablet PC Support

It depends on what the problem is.

If it's not a hardware issue, then a nuclear mouse-hunt (HD wipe and total OS re-install) ought to work.

It could be a problem with the stylus. The pressure sensing hardware inside eventually wears out ... maybe you can borrow another stylus to test with

    hmmm..
the pressure sensitivity works in One Note and Sticky Notes program, but not on photoshop etc. i think if the problem was in stylus it wouldn't be able to show pressure sensitivity anywhere at all. am i wrong?
