For those that bought a Surface 3 on launch day, did you (or for those with 30 day return policies, will you) keep it?

It seemed to me (subjectively) like the majority of the TPCR posters returned it, so I was curious if that was really true or not.

Despite purchasing it with the full expectation to return it, I kept mine =)

I kept mine since I have a longer return policy :) if no news on sp4 in time for the return policy I will just keep it.

I don't think I've ever bought anything with the expectation that I would return it... My S3 is no exception.

This is my second time. The first time was the Dell Venue 8 Pro... I didn't return that either =P

I normally purchase with the intent of replacing an aging item(s). The S3 was intended to replace my laptop + tablet however the transfer speed did annoy me somewhat.

I am know a proud owner of a SP3. If it was for the deal I received, I probably would have the S3. My only gripe at the moment, battery life.

Kept it, but a part of me is dreaming of a tablet with better battery life, in a similar size.

I will be keeping mine. Watching out now for a smaller one with the same guts. I want this in 8.3-8.6" with a docking connector. How many years will it take to get that out of someone?

Maybe never, unless Microsoft decides to make one. It looks like W10's small tablet mode is making way for ARM based small tablets. I could see some ARM based units being released with W10.

Was toying with the Samsung Tab 8. What a perfect display size. With a small dedicated KB, it would make a perfect travel unit and with an X7-Z8700/4GB would be great for docking once back at the desk. Maybe there will be another 8" Thinkpad tablet, but I doubt it in the near term, given Lenovo's experience with that imperfect unit.
