Hi everyone, I've been trying to get my kensington lock to lock my tm2 to my desk. I know the lock works fin, and I know how to use it. I can't get it to lock once I put it in my laptop though. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Have used one third part kensignton lock and one genuine kensington lock with my tm2.
    No problems at all.

As this is such a simple mechanism, I can only see two options.
-Your lock doesn´t work properly or the hole on the tm2 is full of dirt/defective built.
-You don´t know how to use it. (No offence meant)

I know for sure that the lock is not defective. I used it on my past laptop and it worked fine (HP too). Do you think it's possible that it is a problem with my laptop? I just tried it with my friend's lock and it doesn't work either. I put it into the lock hole and I can't press in the lock, regardless of where I position it

Try taking a small screwdriver, or something other and have a feel inside the kensington hole. There should be empty space all around after the 2 mm thick casing.

Seem to that me, that you have to RMA or have a talk with HP.
