Hurray! Texture just updated their app to support the iPad Pro 12.9. Still totally insane that these kinds of updates take close to two years to happen on popular paid apps!

Don't overpay for your 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Happy drawing, everyone.

Do we know if the 12.9 is getting refreshed this year along with the 10" model?

Same. Imagine my joy if they were to release an 18" version! It would immediately become standard equipment at every art school everywhere. Art students are a surprisingly lucrative market, I think. The old image of the starving art student was once actually true, but not so anymore. I'm right next door to a biggish art school and I still can't get used to seeing the the Mercedes and BMWs the students park outside.

    hah!
For real though, it just goes to show how much I love art and artists that my respect for that man just shot up a lot. Anyone who paints can't be all bad.

Crazy that Apple don't extend the technology to other devices. Dell created their own hardware to work with a Wacom pen for the Canvas and have done done nothing further with that tech.

The non-Wacom gap is being filled by Chinese alternatives to Wacom but none of them match the pixel density of an iPad or Canvas screen.

Yeah, I'd give my interest in Hell for there to be an updated and affordable Axiotron Modbook.

I _really_ wish that there was a tablet which had hardware suited to installing Mac OS X on, but it would be better if Apple would just make something.

I keep thinking I should just bail on portability and get a Wacom Cintiq and Mac Mini, but I haven't owned a desktop since my NeXT Cube.
