    Anyone tried a flashcard app that supports stylus drawings?

    I'm looking into this one, I might try it out at an apple store if they actually let me download apps which I doubt

    I gave it a whirl today... it's not a great look. The free version isn't really usable, and the full version is $15 (!) with, as far as I can tell, no spaced repetition and no ability to offload your cards to a system that can do spaced repetition (like... any other flashcard system). You can export to PDF, so I suppose there could be some kind of workflow there with exporting, splitting every two pages, finding a way to import, etc.

    The free version is black text, uniform width (no pressure) only, which is a bummer because you can't really see how inking would be in the full app without paying. The mechanics are puzzling. For example: Why is the main screen set to two-finger pan by default? Just let me pick a selection tool or long-press if I want to select multiple cards. A lasso is such a random thing to be the default for single-touch. Why in the world do I have to click this tiny little button in the bottom left corner to flip a flashcard? I have a 13" touchscreen. Let me swipe, damnit!

    Thanks.

    I guess the janky method of snipping tool and then pasting stuff + inking on powerpoint slides on a windows tablet is my best bet for flashcards at the moment.

    Maybe I'll look into the surface go I suppose though I hear it has very meh batterylife.

    It just occurs to me now that the new design of the iPad Pro will be a little more forgiving with full body skins because of the straight edges.

    @dstrauss Hey Dale!

    How would you compare the S-Pen/EMR pen solution to the Apple Pencil 2?

    I'm currently at a X-Roads... Buy the iPad Pro 12 or get the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen 15" with S-Pen Tech.
