You are forgiven. You have needs. This will last until something new comes along, as you've pretty much gone through everything else in production! Use in good health!

Edit: just out of curiosity: what benefit does the iPP give you over the standard iPad 2018?

Methinks he was probably referring to the "Tim Taylor" reference, not the usage of "Pokey."

The Mrs lurks around MR Forums, using my avatar, no less, trying to figure workflows .... :) She is all Apple, lugging her 6S, X, iPP 12.9 & her MBP to work every single day. When she gets to her music studio at work, she go about connecting her Wacom tablet (BT) to her MBP. She spent her day juggling the 4 devices. That's at least 3 more extra devices to carry everyday. She drives.

I carry my Note 5 & Surface 3 to work to my (new) personal office (yay! promotion!) every single day (& when on overseas trips) When I get to my office, I park the Surface 3 on my desk & Miracast both devices to 2 huge Sony TVs. I cycle.

    iPP vs iP:
    • Better and bigger screen
    • Better pencil
    • 4G LTE
    • More storage (marginal benefit)
    • Good keyboard
    • Much faster processor (helped by more RAM)

    Congrats on the promotion!

I understand lugging the phones - their connections to the ether are unique - but why lug the laptops, particularly something as "luggy" as the MBP? At some point, it makes sense to have something at each end of the commute, doesn't it?

    Thank you.

AFAIK, she has a desktop PC at work but she refuses to use it, hence the MBP. She has never ever use any other OS. Still loves her, warts & all .... lol.

A popular TV comedy about a klutz who hosted a home improvenment show and knew almost nothing except to always use MORE POWER when fixing anything - like using a sledgehammer to drive a small nail into wood.
