    So I'm actually surprised - I would think that for document annotation the best device would ipad pro 11 or surface go by far.

    Is 8 inches really enough for document annotation?

    I'm guessing that instinctually it will feel much better to tote around an 8 incher as opposed to an 11 incher so maybe portability still wins out over screen space.

    I can't wait to go to an apple store and test out the vaunted cuteness/smallness/lightness of an 8 inch tablet.

    Spent 3 years (2015-18) doing all of the above on a GTA8SP. So yes, 8' is good enoug for document annotation & more.

    BTW, konnichiwa from Kita-ku, Tokyo, Japan.

    Contemplating getting the LTE model but that about ¥75k, I'm also worried Apple might update the next version with the pencil 2 support and lesser bezels and I'll be stuck with the already outdated-looking device.

    @nnthemperor @Kumabjorn
    Thank you all for the welcome. Left the Mrs back home with a new Note 9 & iPad Mini. She will not miss me.... lol

    NTT has a huge data centre there. One of many in Tokyo and around Japan.

    I guess the mini doesn't make much sense without LTE.

    Whoa.....the 512 is priced accordingly......but $288 USD for a 128GB new Note 9 is a very very good deal.
