    iOS 11.2.1 Fixes HomeKit Bug

    Apple continues to hunt for bugs in iOS 11, putting out a small update that’s important for people who use HomeKit. The issue being fixed could allow hackers to open locks that are connected through Apple’s home automation system.

    iOS 11.2.1 is available for iPad and iPhone, as well as iPod. To install it, go to Settings > General > Software Update, or connect the iOS device to a laptop or desktop running iTunes.

    Apple has released iOS 11.2.2 to fix a security flaw that’s made the headlines in recent weeks. According to Apple:

    iOS 11.2.2 includes security improvements to Safari and WebKit to mitigate the effects of Spectre​

    This update doesn’t seem to include any other changes.
