    I'm glad this out in the public now.... it is very cool. The inking team had reached out to me back in January.

    Phone support! Still requires the hardware, but it really looks like the Lumia Note is a possibility.

    How do you activate it? Can you use it on the desktop to scribble something?

    It appears to be a new API for developers, so apps need to be written to take advantage of it.

    So Windows desktop doesn't use it then, bummer.

    The API allows for passive inking as well as active inking...the Lumia 1520 has a very responsive touch screen and handles passive inking quite well...

    The desktop itself doesn't, but I wouldn't be surprised if Office 2016 and maybe even the new TIP uses it.

    Translating this using jnj>txt mode, this says something like "This was demonstrated to me on a Lumia 1520, and it works quite well. But I can't say! Shhhhhh"
