I have been following wireless streaming technolgy for a couple years. I gave up on it because of choppy lag problems. I installed the Intel 6230 yesterday with "just drivers".

I need clarification on a couple things:

    1. Where is the bandwidth bottleneck? Your home router? The 6230? The EP121?
    2. Do you have to do any router tweaking to receive max benefit?
    3. Can the NETGEAR Push2TV or the others be configured or adapted to connect to multiple monitors?
    4. Where is the app located? Is there a separate prog to DL to use WIDI?

I had tried streaming a movie from a laptop T7100..on g 54mhz to a router than send to EP121 in n 168mhz. no lag or stutters using vlc to view.

most of the time it is your router has too slow of a processor and memory.

There is a seperate download on the intel support site - you need to search for it. Basically, it will require more than "just drivers" though - the utility is related to all that Intel PRO/set junk.
