    hi there,

    1) anybody got an idea if there is a new powerful hsdpa pcmcia or express card without an external antenna that vanishes completely in the cf-19?

    2) if that doesn't exist, did anyone get the internal hsdpa-module and built it in?

    best

There's a big thread about doing the latter for the CF-30 on the 'sister site' here, which may be of some help.

I'd be very surprised if it's possible to hide a HSPA antenna inside the metal case of the CF-19 and still get a good signal. Fitting the Gobi 2000 card does sound like the best solution.

What I'd like to know on this subject, if anyone knows, is whether it's possible to fit a Gobi or similar to the CF-18. Currently I use a Huawei USB modem. It works well, but of course it means leaving a port unprotected.

Edit: Wait, I've found a thread where people are trying exactly the same thing, again on the sister site: http://forum.notebookreview.com/panasonic/454729-hsdpa-modem-cf-18-a.html
