Anyone know when the mid-cycle refresh on theZbook Studio X360 will be? I’ve read somewhere that it should bring a bump in RAM capacity to 64GB (probably via support for 32GB SODIMMs) and P2000 graphics option, which HP are already currently (falsely) advertising in the product description, but it is not currently configurable.

I would like to pick one of these up before the EOY to replace a MBP15.

Same. Been waiting for a decent coupon as well as a configurable with a P2000.

The HP website states that 64 gb options will be available some time in December. I think that this requires an actual change in build and am hoping that the P2000 may also become an option at the same time that 64 gb RAM does, although the site makes no claims of this (and implies that the P2000 is already an option, which it isn’t).

I called HP sales and they don’t seem to know too much about anything really... sigh...

Contacted HP sales, and the guy didn't know either. He got in touch with the Zbook product group and here is the response:

"I am waiting for them to provide an availability date, but my initial investigation looks like a combination of parts shortage and there was a delay in testing for compatibility for that card in the unit.
I am told it is at least end of month but I am pressing for a more firm date"

So we probably won't see it until the start of the new year at the earliest.

Looks like any discounts that may have been present before are now gone and the base customizable model now has a starting price of around $4100, which is pretty ridiculous for a loaded laptop, but that’s not even optioned out....

Discounts are back. Looks like maybe they are resetting it for something? The 64GB option is also now available.

The sales guy I've been talking with got a response from their product group, the P2000 will go live on the configurable webpage Jan 22nd.
