I thought their Windows 7 slate was scrapped after the bad press from the early review units and the acquisition of Palm.

There's supposed to be a webOs slate.

Tigerlily is right, that's definitely the old HP Slate that was cancelled.

    Nevertheless:

Would be nice ... This would be all I need other than my Acer 3820TG and BB.

Strange rumors abound from mysterious strangers:

Examiner: HP webOS 'PalmPad' tablet will have wacom pen

News found on mobileread (posted by user kjk):

If they're sticking a wacom on their webOS product I cannot imagine them not putting it on the Windows 7 product.

    EDIT: Whoah.

HP's Win 7 slate Officially confirmed.

apparently it's not cancelled engadget has a post, saying HP has confirmed it's in the consumer testing phase.

Yup, the Win7 version is likely to be released similar to the 2740P as an 'enterprise' device and the WebOS version as the 'consumer' device.
