Just got this stand and I am pleased. Although it is expensive for what it is (bits of molded metal and plastic), and you have to remove the 8-cell battery (OK with 6) for it to fit.

sigh.. unfortunately this stand is available only on hp usa. has anyone in Canada found a source for this yet?

I might have to consider pay-paling someone in the States to have it mailed to me in Canada here.

Hey, there...Contact me if you're interested. I have one NIB that I'd be willing to sell to you. We can hammer out shipping and prices.

    Thanks

Who's seen the Cricket? It looks like a great stand. From people's YouTube testimonials, it's very sturdy and does it's job with aplomb. Trouble is, I can't access the product page, just the company's front page: http://www.lcdarms.com

I am interested in the stand, but I am even more interested in the expansion dock/port thing that is NOT included. I've called and chatted with HP, combed the web, etc. and cannot find a part number for it. Does anyone know what that is? I've looked at the XB3000, and it's too large for my purposes.

Leaftye, while we all certainly appreciate the Jessica Alba pic, I have to disagree about the Roswill RNA 5000. I've used it now for three months and think its fine. Definitely cools the laptop!

If you want to lie in bed and rest it on your stomach, I can see where a 50º angle of the HP tx Series Notebook Stand (KM408AA) would be better, but the RNA-5000 has plenty of lift on a desk or your lap. I slouch back in my chair all the time with no glare problem. I like the 360º swivel and the extremely light weight too. Also has a great $19.99 price at www.newegg.com.
