I want it on the slate. If they can fit standard, that would be fine with me, but a mini on the slate and standard on the dock would be okay too. I want to be able to hook the slate directly to a smart-board.

I agree with Bronsky. Until vendors all adopt the new Intel one-port-does-all architecture (light peak), then we will have to get used to mini/micro ports because my first demand is sub-0.5" thick tablets!

@bronsky, Could the N2800 atom gpu, handle HD video properly, because I know the 4500, like in the A605 has some issues with HD content playing, while the 4500HD(what my current machine has) variant doesn't.

Maybe some how we can get a Slate with the N2800 cpu, paired with the gpu of the C-60 or something, because notice how much better the 3Dmark of the C-60 is. If HP really wants to keep its lead from Lenovo and the rest, I think they need to push the envelope a little when it comes to specs, and design. And making tablets that are better spec'd than the competition for around the same price is a way of getting it done imho.

Thanks, Rick. With the proprietary power connector, it's that much more important to have a mobile adapter. The slate is by nature a very mobile and portable device, but limited by battery life and non-swappable battery. So a mobile adapter is critical.

Hint, a vertical use as a GPS-navigation system for aircraft works very well (after I hacked together the power adapter). Have you spoke with Jeppesen about a nav package to challenge the iP*d.

    Thanks again!

What would happened if Microsoft managers met with HP's board of directors? Could we trick them all to say their names backwards and send them back to the goddamn dimension they came from? Worth a try.
