I recently purchased a tc4400 and tried upgrading the 60gb hd to a 500 gb hd only to find that upon booting up I get a message saying non system disk error....etc. After some digging around I read that that laptop has a Hard drive limit 120gb or 137 gb. I also read that you could flash the bios with a "modified" bios thus lifting that limit. Unfortunately it appears as if that bios is no longer available and was wondering if anybody had it archived or if they know a work around to get this hd to work in the laptop. I don't know if it makes a difference but I did not do a clone of the other drive. I just planned to do a fresh install. Thank you.
