Its looks gunmetal colored (like a very dark grey/silver). I would imagine the 1st gen silver ones are still compatible though

Just to clear up the confusion regarding Thunderbolt: The Spectre x2's USB-C ports do NOT have Thunderbolt 3, nor do the ports show the actual Thunderbolt logo.

The Thunderbolt logo has a very specific bolt design. It is of course unfortunate that a generic “bolt” is typically also a symbol for electrical power.

Here is a close-up between the Spectre x2's bolt logo and the official Thunderbolt logo.

There is also actually an official logo from the USB Implementer’s Forum (USB-IF) that companies should use for labeling a port with USB-Power Delivery but not Thunderbolt. It is a battery-like symbol:

Here is also a complete overview how the ports should actually be labeled. It just sucks that almost no manufacturer cares about these things. Which is especially annoying with HP as a major member of the USB-IF, since HP employees also co-wrote those exact USB specifications.

In a shock to absolutely no one, HP updated their website and changed the graphics card to the Iris 640.

Finally that's settled. They also charge you twice if you want i7 with 16 GB of RAM right now. That has to be a mistake. (once in the processor selection +$120 from i7 8 GB, and a second time because it says incompatible selection and you must select RAM in separate upgrade +$100).
