It does look very, very nice. Now all I need to know is whether or not the keyboard is as good as the Surface pro.

It's very thin... which might indicate that MS could possibly release a Surface Pro update (Quad core) as WELL as a new model that's thin and light, just like the HP here.

Always regretted not getting an IBM Transnote.

I think the design is interesting as well. Really can't believe that HP couldn't add on a pocket for the pen so it was protected.

It looks nice, but i'm not a fan of material for high use areas like the keyboard and the kickstand. They simply are not going to hold up over time, but clearly in keeping with the trend of computers/portables as disposables.

Here's the video from the introduction earlier today. Note that, strangely, the video doesn't actually start until ~10 minutes in...?!??

I really love the way it looks like you have a real laptop mode (unlike just a kickstand - lapability) but an easily reclined note taking mode - best of all, I'm always wanting to find a folio to carry my tablet around in - and here it is a part of the design metaphor. Definitely want a three year warranty though...

PS - the real introduction doesn't start until 25 minutes in...

This is a Sony vaio flip wrapped in leather. That was one of my favorite tablets, only reason I gave it up was because it sounded like an airplane getting ready for takeoff if you pushed it even a little. I am very intrigued by this thing.
