<<...No Pen it seems...>>
...And without a pen, it's not very close...
Hopefully, somebody will hack the drivers for use on the HD 500 GPU.
My fear is the dumb down of the software industry:
Adobe Photoshop CS5.5 Meets iPad - PCWorld
If that software had being made for WP7 or Android, Jobs would go on stage to mock the rudimentary and unsophisticated nature of "drawing with fingers". And his yes-men in the press would all agree.
I like the concept and interface(for the most part) of the Acer, but the lack of the a pen is a no for me. Now somebody needs to bring out a Fusion(Zacate E-450 would be awesome).
Dell's 10" windows tablet. Likely N-Trig pen. Release in the fall. Dell’s Windows, Android tablet roadmap leaked
The Latitude ST looks good. Except for the digitizer, which I agree, will probably be N-trig. Healthy competition to the Slate 500.
Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet leaks out with Honeycomb, IPS screen, optional stylus and keyboard folio? -- Engadget
Wacom Digitizer on a 10.1" 16:10 IPS T2 Android 3.0 1.6 lb tablet w/8 hour battery life.
Now this is interesting.
Wishful thinking... I did not see anything Wacom related. Also, since this is not a Wacom size panel, this is likely either N-trig or the same manufacturer as their upcoming Win 7 Slate. The 'active digitizer' in their upcoming Win 7 slate will be neither Wacom nor N-trig but a 3rd party manufacturer.
Hmmmm. Too bad. All of the comments were discussing a Wacom digitizer. Maybe the third-party digitizer will be better than the N-Trig solution.
Was notified this morning that the Motion CL900 is now available for order (4-week delivery).
