I hate the right click button. I always hit it accidentially while I'm writing. I have to consciously hold the pen so that my fingers are not near the button. Some day I'll figure out a use for it.

The cords are easy to find for a low price. Just put the PN in google and you will find them.

Is that the softer blue tip I see?

Seems like the logical use for the button when inking would be an eraser. Has anyone figured out how to do this?

I tried a "Speck" IPad Shield on my slate, I ended up taking it off but it has me more convinced that the slate should have a matt display. Not only does it cut most of the glare, it also seems to create a more comfortable writing surface. In the end, I experience a few skips from the pen, that I had not experienced before so I pulled it off.

My next tablet will have a matt display and be outdoor viewable as well.

There are displays that look better in sunlight, but they are still very expensive or they would most likely be used a lot more.

I read somewhere that one of the reasons for shiny vs matt finish has to do with how the screens are bonded. When there is space in the screen bonding, using a matt surface makes it look more pixel like.

Some devices use a better bonding of the screen components but the process is more expensive thus a trade off.

Future generations of products as costs go down will most likely be able to do better.

If you have seen one of the E-Ink displays, they look fantastic in direct sunlight, but color is basically not there and they are slow. That would make a poor active screen display (moving images/movies/games).

Bronsky, you can try another antiglare screen protection. The one from Exim was good for my TM2. You will find links in the TM2 forum.

An example of what you're talking about would be the Motion J3500, awesome display from what I've rend outdoors but that is a very pricey piece of hardware.

Been using it (the 6000) a bit, and I'm happy to say this keyboard is solid. It fits in my pack, has a solid feel to it, is extremely comfortable for typing, and connects with no issues.

Something that has bothered me for a long time is why are wireless mice & keyboards almost never bluetooth?

Cost. The dongles they use are much cheaper than incorporating Bluetooth.

    Setup

The dock is really handy... using the backwards orientation it sits perfectly (not hooked up to the connector of course) and will be nice for times when you want to use it with a keyboard but can't/dont want to plug it in and/or take it out of the case.

Yeah... it was nuts. estimated delivery was the 30th! Sunday the 26th eve i got the standard date will follow rollover to the negative two days ago delivery on the HP order status page. then late that night / early morning it went to date will follow a second time (that was the first time i saw it change more than once) after that it said shipping on the 27th.

    Here's the tracking page info

The crazy thing is from Sacramento it's a good 5 hour drive for me! And I had it in my hands before the 10am stated so i was shocked as I said the estimated delivery wasn't until the 30th

I didn't get the shipment email until 6:43AM on the 27th, so by then i'd already seen the updated status page and had the tracking number from there.

Got my Fujitsu Stylus this morning. Strange that I had to sign for it...

Came in a nice small shipping box well packed. Included the battery, extra nib and a lanyard to attach to the end of it.

Not having actually seen a stylus before (don't have my Slate yet), it was smaller than I had envisioned it to be. Totally cylindrical body, so it rolls on the flat surface.

Like the nice dark color. Had some fun trying to take pictures because it wouldn't stay in one place.

Now I need something to play with it with...
